July 2008:

• Saturday July 5 – the Club with three [3] delegates, attended the “District Mass Induction held at Crown Plaza Hotel in Ortigas Center;

• Saturday July 12 –the Club sent off four [4] delegates in support of  the “Rotary Foundation Seminar” [TRF] at SEAMEO-Innotech;

August 2008:

• Saturday August 16 --   the Club sent off two [2] delegates in support of  the “Membership Development Seminar” at SEAMEO-Innotech;

September 2008:

• Tuesday September 4, 2008 – as Lead Rotary Club partner and supporter of Oriental and Motolite Batteries Corp’s. “Balik-Baterya Program”, by invitation, Club members led by President Lito attended the firm’s ‘Donors and Supporters Recognition Day’ at AIMS Makati, where RC METRO SFDM was given a Plaque of Recognition;
  
  

• Friday September 4, 2008 – representing the Club, Dream Maker Pres. Lito Parel attended the District and Quezon City LGU’s “LAUNCHING OF SUPER HEALTH CENTER” at Lupang Pangako, Payatas, Quezon City;
  
  

• Saturday September 13, 2008 – the Club brought in, and sponsored ten [10] Sergio Osmena, Sr. High School graduating students in the District’s initiated “LITERACY FORUM” held at Rotary Center;
  
  

• Saturday September 27, 2008 – from the family library of PP Romy Cruz, the Club donated complete 26 volumes of Encyclopedia and 2 volumes of Encyclopedia Dictionary to Sergio Osmena, Sr. High School;
  
  

• Saturday September 27, 2008 – attended and co- hosted two [2] events [Folk Dance and  On the Spot Painting Contest] in the annual “Alay ng Rotary sa Araw ng Kabataan” held at the Amoranto Sports Complex.

October 2008:

• Thursday October 2, 2008 – the Club moved and held its Tuesday  September 30 meeting to  Thursday October 2, 2008 at PP Romy Cruz’ place in commemoration of member Rotarian Zeny Cruz’ 1^st death anniversary;

• Sunday October 5, 2008 – with 3 Club delegates, participated in “Walk for a Cause” a Cancer Awareness and Prevention Program, held at Mall of Asia ground;

• Sunday October 5, 2008 – co-sponsored and attended Project BREAST held at UNTV compound, Quezon City;

• Tuesday October 7, 2008 – participated and attended Tuesday Clubs’ Intercity Meeting at Sangkalan Restaurant; a launching of Medical Mission on Free Check-up and Treatment of Hepa B for Children and Liver Cancer for adults;

• Thursday October 9, 2008 – the Club thru Pres. Lito Parel upon invitation from DDS Jess Tanchanco guested  at ‘Rotary Hour’ over radio DWDD and discussed projects and programs of the Club;

• Friday October 17, 2008 – three [3] golfers representing the Club, led by Pres. Lito Parel participated in Golf Tourney at Veterans Golf course, hosted by RC Kamuning East;

November 2008:

• Friday Nov. 7, 2008 – in representation of the Club, four [4] golfers led by Pres. Lito Parel & PP Romy Villaluna played and supported RC Metro West Triangle’s Fund Raising Project for TRF dubbed as “8^th Paul Harris Cup” at Valley Golf & Country Club;

• Friday Nov. 28, 2008 – co-host with other 15 Rotary Clubs, RC METRO SFDM, represented by Pres. Lito Parel motored to Bicol for a 2-day outreach project dubbed as “Bicol & Quezon Mission.”

• Saturday Nov. 29, 2008 – co-hosted and supported the Libon, Albay ‘Surgical Mission’, and ‘Forum On Child Cancer Awareness’;

• Saturday Nov. 29, 2008 – went up to the mountainous far-flung Barangay of Caguscos, Libon, Albay and co-hosted and co-sponsored the ‘Feeding’ & ‘Multi-Vitamins distribution to hundreds of the Barangay  children, and ‘Gift-Giving of clothings, canned goods, and  noodles to about 150 families;

• Saturday Nov. 29, 2008 – all participating Clubs side-tripped to Brgy. Buga, Libon, Albay for another Feeding & ‘Multi-Vitamins distribution to hundreds of the Barangay  children, and ‘Gift-Giving of clothings, canned goods, and  noodles to about 150 families;

• Saturday Nov. 29, 2008 – with earlier invitation, all Presidents and members of participating Clubs proceeded to the residence of and dined-in with Libon, Albay Mayor Agnes Dycoco and her family.  Thereafter, each participants to the Bicol Mission were honored and bequeathed with framed Certificate of Appreciation & basketful of the town’s food products;

• Sunday Nov. 30, 2008 – yet another Multi-Vitamins distribution to children, and ‘Gift-Giving of clothings, canned goods, and noodles to about 100 families of Brgy. Zone 2, Libon, Albay;

• Sunday November 30, 2008 – fellowshipping by tripping around the province of Albay and swimming the warm bay water at the foot of Mayon Volcano;

• The Club completed the four Tuesday regular meeting of its members during the month.

December 2008:

• December 4 – In representation of the Club, Pres. Lito together with his four [4] children attended the D-3780 supported and indorsed concert, “Up with People” at the Meralco Theater;

• December 6 –Co-hosted the Forum on Cancer in Children Awareness Program in San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan;

• December 13 – Six [6] club members attended the Past Presidents Fellowship Night and Disrict 3780 Christmas Party, at the Amoranto Multi-purpose Hall;

• The Club held two weekly regular meeting for December 2008 i.e. December 2 & December 9, which latter date, also marked the Club’s Christmas Party.

January 2009:

• January 30 -- in representation of the Club, two [2] golfers namely, Pres. Lito Parel & a companion played and supported RC Diliman’s Fund Raising Project for TRF dubbed as “Governor’s Golf Cup” at the south course of the Valley Golf & Country Club;

• January 30 --  later in the evening, in representation of the Club, Pres. Lito Parel joined and fellowshipped with Dream Makers Presidents, fellow Rotarians and guests during the awarding rites and celebration of Gov. Alex’s Cureg natal day at the executive lounge of the Valley Golf and Country Club;

February 2009:

• February 4 – attended fellowship with Dream Makers Presidents’ at Sangkalan Grill & Restaurant. The fellowship also served as the launching of Intercity Meeting by many RI District Rotary Club, with theme “Rotarians at Risk”;

• February 27 & 28  --   Isabela Mission – a 2-day ‘medical, surgical, dental, gift-giving, and legal outreach project for the indigents of Aurora Isabela;

March 2009:

• March 16 – co-hosted Intercity Meeting ‘Global Financial Crises - Are we In or are We Out’ at A. Roces Ave. Max’s Restaurant;

• March 18 – Day-hosted the D6550 GSE Team for historical and cultural tour;

• March 18 -- participated in DISCON ZERONINE Golf Tournament where Club’s representatives PP Romy Villaluna, and Romy Garcia bagged the Championship Trophies for Class A & Class B, respectively;

• March 20-21 – eight (8) delegates from the Club attended DISCON ZERONINE held at Manila Hotel;

• March 28 – co-sponsored “Graduation ‘09” – a feeding and recognition of Aeta Elementary graduating students and pupils of mountainous Brgy. Kanawan, Morong, Bataan;

• March 29-30 – co-sponsored “Lakbay Aral ‘09” – an educational/cultural tour of Aeta Elementary graduates of Kanawan, Morong, Bataan, in various sites in Laguna, Manila, and Quezon City;

April 1990:

• April 25 – Club’s “Food Sharing and Gift-Giving project of school bags with school supplies, and goods to elementary students of Sto. Tomas Elementary School in Brgy. Sto. Tomas, Sasmuan, Pampanga;

May 2009:

• May 2 – co-hosted and participated in “Pakil Mission”, a medical, surgical, dental, legal, and gift-giving mission for children and indigents of Pakil, Laguna;

• May 23 – participated and joined “Rota-Tree”, an RC New Manila Q.C pet project to plant a million trees in and around the watershed in Tanay, Rizal;

• May 30 – with 8 Club delegates, attended DISTAS 2009 at Q. C. Sports Club;

June 2009:

• June 6 – with 4 Club delegates, attended Rotary’s “Public Image Forum”;

• June 21 --  RC Metro SFDM “Club Planning Session” in Pulilan, Bulacan.
